Quaint and homely this lovely little bed and breakfast is brimming with vintage charm and great hospitality.
Netherdene is set perfectly in its own gardens in the peaceful hamelet of Troutbeck and is surrounded by stunning lake district views. The local Inn is directly opposite and quick access to the A66 for Penrith train station and J40 of the M6 means that this is the ideal base for either a quick over night stay or a more relaxing long break. This prime location also means that Netherdene is well placed for the picturesque Lake Ullswater, Blencathra and its famous sharp edge, Helvellyn and its equally famous Striding edge and the lovely market towns of Keswick and Penrith.
As well as the 6 individually decorated en suite bedrooms Netherdene has a private guest lounge with television and freeview, and a fabulous sunroom from where guests enjoy breakfast whilst looking out onto the uninterrupted views of the local fells and our lovely little family of chickens.
Many popular Wainwright walks can be found in the area and the ever so popular coast to coast cycle route is just a few hundred yards away. Well behaved dogs are more than welcome to the house with prior arrangement and there is a simple snacks menu available and a pack lunch service.
